The 1.8GB download includes 4,954 MP3 audio files covering 901 regularly occurring, vagrant, and introduced species in the United States (including Hawaii) and Canada. The audio in this collection was hand-picked and masterfully edited to ensure premium sound quality while showcasing a species’ range of vocalizations. The collection was made possible by the contributions of more than 495 sound recordists who archived their recordings in the Macaulay Library.
Proceeds from the sale of this guide will go to supporting free Macaulay Library tools to enhance your birding and power research and conservation.
View the About the Guide page for more information, including download instructions, contributor acknowledgments, a complete species list, and detailed track information.
In December 2021, the guide was updated to v2021 of the Clements Taxonomy and over 100 new cuts were added. If you previously purchased the guide, you are able to download the updated version at no cost. See the About the Guide page for more details.
